This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which Myanclinic and our related companies (De2fx Solutions company Ltd (Company Reg Number 129603909)”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose, or otherwise process personal data of our customers when you use our Myanclinic mobile application underthe Law Protecting the Privacy and Security of Citizens . This Privacy Policy applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organizations which we have engaged to collect, use, disclose or process personal data for our purposes. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions, please refrain from using any of the our Platforms.


1. As used in this Privacy Policy “Customer” means an individual who (a) has contacted us through any means (such as through any of the Platforms) in relation to the goods or services available on the Platforms, or (b) may, or has, entered into a contract with us for the supply of any goods or services by us; and “personal data” means data, whether true or not, about a customer who can be identified: (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access. 2. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data that we may collect from you include (a) Your name, identification numbers such as NRC, Passport Number, FIN, residential address, email address, telephone number, nationality, gender and date of birth;
(b) Medical records and history
(c) Information about the computer or mobile device you are using; or
(d) Other information which you may input into the platforms or related services.

3. We may also seek permission to use the camera, microphone, and phonebook/contact data at points where required HOW WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

4. We may collect your information by the following means but are not limited to those

(a) To enable you to use the Application and utilize the Services. For instance, you may provide your health-related information on the Application in order to consult privately with a doctor.

(b) verifying your identity

(c) responding your inquiries

(d) managing your relationship with us

(e) processing or facilitating the processing of your claims

(f) notifying you when Platform updates are available

(g) marketing and promoting the Platforms, and the services and products offered on the Platforms to you

(h) complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority

(i) for analysis of our products and services for better presentation or outcome

(j) any other purposes for which you have provided the information

(g) marketing and promoting the Platforms, and the services and products offered on the Platforms to you

(k) transmitting to any unaffiliated third parties including our third party service providers and agents, and relevant governmental and/or regulatory authorities, whether in Myanmar or abroad, for the aforementioned purposes; and

(l) any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection with the above.

6. This Privacy Policy applies only to information we collect through the Platforms and in email, text, and other electronic communications set through or in connection with the Platforms. This policy does not apply to information collected by any third party. When you click on links on the Platform, you may leave our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy statements.

7. The consent that you provide for the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data will remain valid until such time it is being withdrawn by you in writing or via email to our office whose contact is provided below.

8. Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require a reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.

9. Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue providing our goods or services to you and we shall, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the processing of your request.

10. Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use, and disclose personal data where such collection, use, and disclosure without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws. For the avoidance of doubt, such withdrawal of consent shall not require us to delete any personal data that has already been collected by us from our records. ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

If you wish to make (a) an access request for access to a copy of the personal data which we hold about you or information about the ways in which we use or disclose your personal data, or (b) a correction request to correct or update any of your personal data which we hold about you, you may submit your request in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer at the contact details provided below. Such a request shall include the details of the requestor, description of the personal data being requested, and the date and time range the personal data was believed to be collected. To safeguard your personal data from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks, we have introduced appropriate administrative, physical, and technical measures such as up-to-date antivirus protection, encryption, and disclosing personal data both internally and to our authorized third-party service providers and agents only on a need-to-know basis.

13. You should be aware, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures. RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

14. We may allow you to delete some of the records that are stored on the Application by clicking “Delete” from the stored location. Such deletion shall only delete your records from the Application but a back-up copy shall be retained in accordance with clauses 21 and 22 below.

15. We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.

16. We will cease to retain your personal data or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes. TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE OF MYANMAR

17. We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Myanmar. However, if we do so, we will obtain your consent for the transfer to be made and we will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the LAW PROTECTING THE PRIVACY AND SECURITY OF CITIZENS.
